The PUBlic Collective fosters performative actions and events in public space.
With the P.U.B Project the collective starts its activity by focusing on the pub as a public space to easily reach people.
It is an international, multidisciplinary, non-hierarchical collective.
For the BISTROT MAGNAN (France) project the Collective is composed by (in alphabetical order):
Elodie Cadol, Andreas Chanis, Leonard Cortana, Nadja Grasselli,
Katarina Hadravova, Zuzanna Jarmakowska, Jelena Jezdovic, Elena Tudorache.
Elodie Cadol studied Visual Arts and Graphic Design. Then, she started organizing many artistic events (exhibitions, street installations, performance alternative independent carnivals etc.) in collaboration with several collectives like “La Tête dans les Etoiles”, “Vortex” and “Collectif Reezome”. Besides this, she started designing clothes that took her towards the creation of theatrical costumes.
Little by little, she collaborated with other companies and worked as an actress on stilts and as a juggler.
In 2006, she went back to study where she followed a training course in Solidarity based Economy and created her own Street Theatre Company – “Cycloplume” that focus its work on Interactivity with the audience. She keeps on studying in different trainings all over Europe: “Espace Catastrophe Circus” in Brussels, make-up at “Make up Forever” and dance at Barcelona “Varium School”.
Andreas Hannes is originally from Greece. He has a Bachelor in Music Science & Art (specialized in percussion) but went on to work with media (photography and videos), as a freelance trainer, director and producer. Currently he is very close to the fields of performance arts & media by organizing and running international projects & residencies. In the last 3 years, he has been working as an artistic director for the project Wonderous Stories and he is the co-founder of Small House Productions (www.smallhousepro.com). Leonard Cortana was born in Marseilles, France. After having graduated in Comparative Politics and Spanish Literature, he went abroad to collaborate with several NGO's and UN organizations all over the world dealing with Education and post rehabilitation programs. Then, he started an acting training in order to use theatre as a tool towards participants with fewer opportunities. Since then, he has organized workshops with street children, mentally disabled teenagers and homeless people. As an actor, he is member of a French Professional theatre company called " Guepard Echappee" and performed “le Dindon” from Georges at Avignon Theatre Festival and in Paris. He also collaborated for a year with the Bulgarian Mime and Theatre group "Fire Theatre" in their productions.
In 2012, he has created “Inform'ART” France, a collective of several artists that promotes the use of Art in the context of European mobility. Member of the International collective LMN Liminale Raeume, he wants in the future to keep on working on the creation of Performances at a European level.
Nadja Grasselli studied Political Science in Bologna and European Literature in Berlin. After several experiences in the art and/or social field (with Literaturforum im Brecht-Haus as organizer; with Teatro Instabile Berlino as dramatist, author; holding theater workshops for youths) she decided to focus on the encounter between this two branches: with artists and social workers she founded the FIRESTARTER* Network. In 2012 she started LMN – Liminale Räume (liminalraum.org).
Katerina Hadravova is a freelancer in the field of site specific installations and designing of puppet performances. She is running the NGO Sunshine Cabaret which is an umbrella for young or young thinking people who are interested in theater, visual arts, music, film and ecology with a local impact. Her mission is to find an art in the daily life and in the connections of the nature, local traditions and habits to create living Art installations.
Since 2009 she is making several moving theatre projects with a theatre bus which is travelling around Europe with performances of Commedia dell’ Arte, puppets performances, shadow theatre and land art installations.
In 2013 she graduated from her Master studies at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) as a scenographer at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre. "
Since 2007 Zuzanna Jarmakowska has been studying special needs Pedagogy in the Education Department of the University of Lodz. During this time, she has gained experience in working with disabled, migrant children and elderly people from underprivileged backgrounds. Between 2007 and 2009 she was associated with the fire theatre group “Piromantrum”. In 2008 she was trained as a Youth Animator of Circus Arts and worked as a circus animator, which led her to work as a circus trainer at a circus camp in 2010. In October 2010 she moved to Berlin, where she started working in Circus “Shake” for the GrenzKultur Cabuwazi organization, under the European Voluntary Service program. She assisted trainers during school project weeks and also worked in costume workshops. Her body of work includes also the production of the “Mockys Zirkus Show” of the Kaos Kult Agency. She is now leading the group “KitaKids” and she is proficient in juggling, poi, rola-bola, and walking globe.
Jelena Jezdovic is from Belgrade, Serbia. She is an anthropologist, a performer and theatre of the oppressed practitioner. She created and performed theatre plays using forum and image methods, expressive arts and creative processes. She is the Project Manager and one of the founders of “Regional Endenovour for Art, Culture and Health – REACH” and member of “Theatre of Tenderness”. She is interested in improving movement and dance techniques.
Olivier Rohart (France) was always interested in all manifestations of beauty in the world. When he had to choose an education path, he went for IT and became an engineer, and a consultant in the banking system, but only soon to discover this world was not for him. Fortunately during this time of his life he discovered photography and then decided to turn his hobby into his full time occupation.
Olivier is the official photographer of the "Bistrot Magnan" project.
Elena Tudorache originally comes from Romania and is specialised in documentation methods (video and photography) in performance arts. She has been living in the Netherlands for the last 3 years working as an artistic producer for the media and performance arts project Wonderous Stories as well as for Small House Productions (www.smallhousepro.com). She is close to the field of visual arts and is mainly interested in interdisciplinary and experimental approaches to an artistic event, in combination with cultural and social aspects.
Elena is the one in charge of the documentation of the "Bistrot Magnan" project in video, photo and text.

Miriam Zafra is a catalan 25 years old girl, just graduated in Audiovisual Communication in Madrid. The main characteristic is where to find her: she has been travelling and living in different countries like Italy, Malta, the UK and Bulgaria. Her field is project development related to peace building, international cooperation and arts/cinema/theatre. Currently she works in the network 'Spaniards Exchanges'. Hostels and teaching languages as well as learning them are the network's passion but also Miriam's. Next adventure and motivation: joining The PUBlic Collective!
Tereza Břeňová graduated from high school as technology of packaging designer but after that she realized that this is not the right way for her. Since that time she is following the challenges which are appearing on the journey of life. Her big passion is cooking, which is for her the combination of art and alchemy. She sees the sense in the permaculture approach to life and creation. Life follows her study of astrology and minerals. She is fascinated by dance, film, theater, shadow play and puppetr. Her fascination deepens with every new experience she has every time she travels with the theater bus of the group "Sunshine Cabaret" . She loves life.
Adam Langer lives in Volyně, a small town in south of Bohemia (Czech Republic). Surrounded by the beautiful countryside, he is reconstructing an old historic house with his dear wife Nikol. His hobbies are cooking fresh food from quality ingredients, travelling, theater and music; especially playing drums and other atypical instruments, such as Sundrum.
